Renuka Choudhary seeks Amit Shah’s intervention for inquiry against TRS minister | Hyderabad News – Times of India

HYDERABAD: Former Union minister Renuka Choudhary of the Congress has demanded the intervention of Union home minister Amit Shah to ensure that cases are booked and inquiry is conducted against Telangana transport minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar and the local Assistant Commissioner of Police among others for the suicide of a BJP activist in Khammam and harassment of Congress members.
“All these days Amit Shah did not react when Congress members were being harassed and cases were booked under PD Act against them. Will Amit Shah not react even now when a BJP worker has committed suicide unable bear the harassment by ruling TRS,” she asked?
The former union minister has found fault with the ruling TRS for not respecting the institution of the Governor and said she will not tolerate the insult of a woman by any one from any political party or sector.
“No protocol is being followed in the state. Security was not provided when the Governor went to naxal-affected areas. Why should IAS and IPS officers have a link with politics? They should follow the protocol and procedure in respect of the Constitutional institutions,” she said.
Renuka Choudhary also made it clear that the party leaders and cadres were not interested in any sort of tie up with the TRS and would prefer to go alone in the polls.
