ulhasnagar: Ulhasnagar: Husband, wife booked for duping business partner and customers of Rs 32 lakh | Thane News – Times of India


KALYAN: The Hill Line police in Ulhasnagar have booked a couple and their staff who duped their partner and several customers of Rs 32 lakh.
The accused identified as Priti Tiwari (30) her husband Pappu Tiwari (31) and their staff Uttam Tiwari, 28.
The case was registered after complainant Vignesh Jadhav (22) who is a business partner of the accused approached Ulhasnagar court that directed the police to register an FIR in the case.
In the FIR, the complainant alleged that since Priti and her husband Pappu had the experience of selling cars he invested Rs 5 lakh to open a car showroom with them.
Vignesh in his complaint alleged that both partners who were handling showroom cheated by taking the booking amount from customers in their personal bank account and did not deliver their cars.
Vignesh alleged that upon learning about the incident he tried to question his partners but they closed the showroom and did not answer to him resulting which he approached the court demanding to file an FIR against the duo.
L M Sariputra, senior police inspector of Hill Line police station said, “On court’s direction we have booked the three accused. We have also received complaint against complainant from customers and we will make detailed investigation and then further action would be taken in this case”.
